One of the most often overlooked and most satisfying upgrades you can do to your vehicle: BRAKES!

There are several advantages and reasons for upgraded braking systems. In addition to reducing your stopping distance, performance braking systems can also make your car faster! A big brake kit (BBK) can increase the frequency in which you can use your brakes without degrading quality as quickly as your stock brakes. A big brake kit does this in multiple ways:

1.) Larger diameter air passageways through the center of the brake disc with highly efficient CAD designed cooling channels are more able to quickly cool down the rotor when it gets hot from braking, increasing the threshold before brake fade.

2.) Upgraded friction materials (brake pads) have different friction co-efficiencies and temperature thresholds giving you more stopping power and less brake fade under aggressive & defensive driving.

3.) Custom blended ATE DOT4 synthetic brake fluid has a higher boiling point than stock fluid and is less hygroscopic (meaning a slower rate at which water is absorbed into the brake fluid) causing it to last longer and maintain usable temperature under different conditions- on the street or at the track. It meets OEM standards and is safe for all ABS Systems.

4.) A two piece rotor design utilizes an aluminum rotor hat that is fastened to an outer ring, the weight savings is stout at 8-14lbs per brake disc! The reduction of unsprung rotating weight on your drive train is not only good for handling and acceleration- but it is good for the life of your transmission, steering and suspension components as well.

5.) Braided stainless steel brake lines and fixed calipers firm up brake pedal ‘feel’ giving a precise response that many drivers feel is safer.

6.) Big sexy brakes look amazing under your rims! A BBK is a tasteful and mature upgrade that continues to give daily pleasure while giving you the ability to more safely avoid and prevent accidents.
